Year-round. The shoulder season is April through July and a great time to go for less crowds, but remarkable wildlife vieiwing. During this time the migration is gaining in numbers in the Serengerti and herds are seen in mass. August through October is high season with the greatest number of visitors and optimum wildlife viewing as the grasses are low. November and December are the light rains with scattered showers and fewer crowds and January through March is considered the proper rainy season. The rainy season still offers plentiful game drives with great wildlife viewing and many days of no rain. The wildebeest migrtion move in a circular pattern year-round throughout the region.
