Experience the living desert first-hand in this overland nature-adventure. The Cape to Kalahari Expedition departs from the "Mother City," Cape Town on the way to the Central Kalahari Desert. River rafting, cheetah conservation, bushmen encounters and camping under the African sky combine in this magical journey. 

In this 3 week hands-on conservation program, you'll participate in tracking and tagging cheetah, surveying populations and mapping movement.  The Namibian Desert is home to a variety of species including antelope, gazelle, ostrich, gemsbok, meerkat and desert elephant. 

White Shark and Marine Science Immersion

Explore the cold artic currents that are home to Southern Right Whales, Great White Sharks and other marine species unique to the Western Cape of South Africa. Did you know Costa Rica has 13 different climate zones?  You will adventure through these 13 zones exploring the many flora and fauna of Costa Rica in this 13 week Rainforest Studies program.  Learn about the poison frog, jaguar, sloth, toucan, and scarlet macaw as well as the many healing plants the rainforest offers.  Emphasis on wildlife and forest conservation. 

Travel the paths of the Inca and Maya to Machu Piccu in this anthropological exploration of culture and spirit .  You'll learn South American history, culture and tradition through food, music, and exploration of ruins and other historic sites. Experience deep immersion in Inca and Mayan history and culture.

In this 6 week program, you'll discover the wonders of Madagascar while surveying lemur populations, and documenting deforestation and local subsistence strategies.   You will gain a comprehensive view of Madagascar trekking from East to West and North to South discovering waterfalls, tsingy, baobab trees, chamelions, lemurs and marine species endemic to this unique island microcosm. 

In this 4 week program, you'll track rhino and survey populations, learn about anti-poaching initiatives, participate in rhino sustainability and contribute to rhino conservation.  Project takes place in the world renown Kruger National Park known for its conservation programs and leadership in anti-poaching efforts.
